TTI Supports REGC Charity Day
TTI was pleased to support the recent golf charity day at the Royal Eastbourne Golf club with the sponsorship of the 15th hole and a team entry. The team, including TTI's Kevin Black and James Mackay with support from two members of the club finished a commendable 4th overall out of 26 teams having narrowly lost out on count back from the prizes.
The day was a great success with a total of £18,000! being raised for a local charity, 'Children with Cancer Fund'.
Tree Planting in Tribute to Former Colleagues and Friends
TTI has recently contributed to the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club’s sustainability initiative by sponsoring the planting of four new trees on the downlands course.
The trees have been dedicated in honour of Mike Parsey, Jeff Nichols, John Hearle, and Linkan O'Hear.
Harvey Dowler - Budding Race Star
TTI is delighted to be supporting budding race star Harvey Dowler in the next stages of his Go Kart racing career and who knows for what may come (remember Lewis Hamilton and many other leading race drivers started out the same way!).
Harvey is 10 years old and is from the Westham/Pevensey area close to Eastbourne. He started racing Go Karts just two years ago and last season raced the Buckmore Park championship, finishing and excellent 5th in the ‘Pro Class’.
This year Harvey has taken a big step up and is now racing nationally in the ‘Club 100’ series. He started the season well and has already taken his 1st race win in the 2nd round at Glan Y Gors, in North Wales.
TTI will be following Harvey’s progress with great interest and wish him very best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond!
ST WILFRIDS HOSPICE BUSINESS AWARD
We are delighted to announce that TTI Ltd Director - Denise Banfield, recently received the Business award for Outstanding Individual Supporter/Business Supporter and was also nominated in two further categories including Outstanding Pandemic Support.
Denise has been an Ambassador for the Hospice for a number of years, fundraising and promoting the good work of the Hospice. Arranging fundraising events, attending regular meetings, and Charity Events.
The TTI Team recently manned the Orange Paint station (see below) at the Colour Fun Run - which raised an amazing £44,000
Denise was also invited to speak to the then Duchess of Cornwall about the Support Local Businesses- such as TTI Group - provide the Hospice.
TOMMY DADE - Exciting Freestyle Skier
Tommy (18) is a freestyle skier who competes internationally for Great Britain.
He spent last winter in Canada racing North American cups, achieving several top 10 results in ski cross. He competed in the men's ski cross in the World Junior Freestyle Championships during 2021/2022. He has raced In Italy, Germany, and Switzerland - he is ranked number 1 in THE WORLD for his year of birth in Ski Cross.
Certainly someone to watch on the Horizon for the next Winter Olympics.
S&D Banfield Ltd have been sponsoring him since he was first selected to join the English under 14 Alpine Ski Squad at the tender age of just 11. Having been family skiing with him since he was a cheeky 5 year old, TTI MD- Steve Banfield can no longer catch him up!

Mentor to youngsters at SKMA and arranged sponsorship towards purchase of safety mats to be used during training sessions and Club Championship Events.
THE MATTHEW 25 MISSION
Is a charity providing assistance and support to the most vulnerable in our society. Including 3 meals a day to the homeless and those without kitchen facilities.
Working in partnership with the Mission and a friend who owns a local Sheet Metal Company- TTI Group and S&D Banfield Ltd provided an extraction fan system and the re-modelling of the Mission kitchen. Which provided volunteers with extra food preparation space, enabling them to increase the number of hot meals they could provide daily from 40 to 140.
EASTBOURNE FOODBANK-HELPING LOCAL PEOPLE IN CRISIS
TTI has been supporting the local food bank for a number of years.
Including encouraging and mentoring the "Blackwater House Girls" at Eastbourne College - (ages 13-18 years) to donate, organise collections and deliver items directly to the Foodbank.
